Transpordi Varahaldus OÜ (TVH) has handed over the first of seven Bombardier CRJ900 regional jets sold to EIC Aircraft Leasing Limited, a subsidiary of Regional One, a leading lessor of regional aicraft. The aircraft departed from Tallinn Airport on August 28, 2025 and headed to its new base in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
According to Ergo Blumfeldt, Member of the Management Board of TVH, the sale of the fleet has now reached the stage where, following a thorough technical inspection and the completion of required maintenance and repair work, the first aircraft has been transferred to the new owner.
“This marks an important milestone in the handover and acceptance process. The remaining aircraft will be delivered in line with their technical readiness, with the process expected to conclude according to the original schedule by the end of September,” Blumfeldt added.
George Mamangakis, Board Member of EIC Aircraft Leasing Limited, confirmed that the aircraft’s overall technical condition and documentation met Regional One’s expectations. “The preservation work carried out in Tallinn has been of good quality, and our cooperation throughout the handover process has been very professional,” said Mamangakis.
TVH signed the agreement to sell seven aircraft to Regional One in late spring. Before delivery, each aircraft undergoes a comprehensive technical inspection, including tests of engines and avionics. The inspections also assess the impact of the long-term parking on the technical condition of the fleet, with any deficiencies being rectified.
During the parking period, aircraft maintenance was carried out by Magnetic MRO, while airworthiness oversight has been provided by Jettech Airworthiness Solutions in Tallinn.
